So Yacht Rock Sunday's at Barbarella has set sail into the wind, but that doesn't mean I won't be doing more Yacht Rock events around Austin.. Stay tuned for a weekly dose of smooth and be prepared to have you mind blown by what I have planned.
First right off the bat is one of my favorite songs of summer, and I'm throwing out a dedication to Jen cause tonight is her badayday and we're going to party All Night Long!!!
This song is amazing, it starts of with a smooth tropical beat and has a slight build up that's almost a tease of the awesomeness to come before it slows down the energy again... and then EXPLOSION and it builds some more and then it flys off the hook. Which just proves my theory... People love songs about partying and when people chant in a weird voodoo language.
So here's to you Jen, who's party is actually starting at 10 and going all night long.
Also making one more dedication, PREPMODE is back from his trip in the Caribbean so in honor of that here's an exclusive edit he did for his trip.. I was going to post it earlier but decided it would be nice to champion his arrival back on dry land.
He gives a lil juice to the looking glass classic Brandy, which I'm sure I've probably posted in it's original form somewhere on the site.
He's going to be playing this Friday at the Parish and on Saturday he will be taking the reigns back on his regular spot at Barcelona. Welcome home sir.
